Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.

Did you know the Sacramento Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter serves women in 72 zip codes across Northern California? Due to our group's large geography and the location of our board members, we realize our board can't serve most of the women in our alumnae group.

We are looking for women outside of the Greater Sacramento area who wish to connect with DGs in their area and for some women to potentially start Special Interest Groups (SIGs) based on location or other topics. SIG group leaders would receive training and also become a member of our Sacramento Alumnae Board. It is a very fun way to connect with local sisters and host a casual get-together or two.

If you want to connect with DGs near you (outside of the Greater Sacramento Area) and/or lead a SIG group, please reach out to VP Membership, Natalie Boylan, to learn more.
