Open Board Positions

Our board is made up of wonderful ladies who are volunteering their time to make the Sacramento Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter the best it can be, however, we are a small group of women. We would love more women to join us and help!

The reality is that we need more volunteers- we are trying our best, but we do have term limits on our positions. Some of us are terming out and have to leave the board. If we do not have other women step up then we could reach a point where we can't have events because we do not have enough sisters on the board. It would be fantastic to bring more sisters on the board this year to help out where needed and make the transition easier.

All Board Positions

Elected:

President- presides over the board and assists all officers in their roles and represents the local chapter
VP Finance- oversees the budget and financial transactions of the chapter (including dues and payments)
VP Membership- focuses on creating a welcome environment through outreach and engagement with members
VP Programming- coordinates monthly events and other programs as desired
VP Communication- manages chapter social media and website, correspondence, takes notes at meetings
VP Foundation- coordinates service opportunities and Foundation awareness/fundraising

Appointed:

Collumnae Chairperson- communicates and leads support for our three local collegiate chapters
City-Wide Sponsorship Chairman- provides sponsorship support to collegiate chapters and individuals who reach out for sponsorship
Panhellenic Delegate- represents Delta Gamma with local Alumnae Panhellenic Council primarily at monthly meeting
Founders Day Chairperson (can be a shared role)- plan and host the annual Founders Day celebration
Awards Chairperson- coordinate applications for national awards (individual and for Convention), facilitate local recognition
